This is a group of 4 slide shows that are intended to give a basic perspective to what the museum looks like inside and out.   This page is temporarily not visible to the public.
Exterior views of the depot.  Well maintained looking good and only needing manageable maintenance.

The exception is the old building across the parking lot with lots of salvage items on the railroad loading dock.

Some of the items on the dock have historic significance and could easily be rearranged to make an attractive vintage freight dock appearance.  The items and building are owned by Jerry Kinder and his approval will be required.

The main display room.  There are a lot of items in here.  No natural traffic flow.

Middle section is left clear of exhibits to allow for tables to be set up for meetings.

Meeting chairs are stacked near the back emergency exit and extra display items are stacked between exhibits.

Small box displays are stacked on cheap plastic tables and The book display at the front door has no clear labeling.
The Passenger room is arranged more like a conventional museum exhibit.  The old fixtures are vintage and the bench, door and lettered glass windows are all original.

The extra meeting tables are stored in here under the south window.

The merchandising table is next to the stove.  I believe this could be done much better and the room should remain uncluttered.

The ticket room is a very nice display and they keep it very clean.
